CheriDawn relocated to Blackfoot, Idaho, from southeastern Montana, after marrying her husband (of 15+ years). With 7 beautiful grandchildren who she adores … right next to her 3 dogs, 7 horses, and 10 calves! (But the kids have the edge.)
Her diversified career has taken CheriDawn through 25+ years in Administration, Marketing, and Human Resources. She feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to work in many different countries, but maintains that she likes it right here the best! She has worked hard at building strong relationships by listening and actually caring what people involved have to say. This level of work ethic and character has allowed her to be successful in various professions throughout life.
Most recently venturing into the Healthcare industry, she began working with Home Health and Hospice and Assisted Living Retirement Communities, including working with dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease patients. To contribute to a resident’s sense of security and their health and happiness is, as she puts it, “the greatest possible reward for as an Administrator.” CheriDawn believes that honesty, integrity, and “doing the right thing” are key for life in general. Personally, she enjoys cultivating a business and mentoring open-minded employees, believing that employees who are well-trained build confidence throughout the facility, leading to a happier environment overall.
